browse multiple sewing magazines to find a pattern that’s close enough to what i want
download something from Mood, again
go to the fabric store
get distracted by all the fabrics and think of at least 4 different new projects
Buy the fabric, oh and matching thread
i forgot to buy the zipper (again)
Stare at the fabric for a while
Trace and cut the pattern
Add seam allowance
Cut the fabric
Wonder why this has taken 3 hours already and I don’t feel like I’ve started
Now I can start
Sew the easy things together
OMG this is soooo coool
at some point realize I sewed the wrong thing, undoing it and sewing again
Wait, how? what? HOW does this pattern work? I don’t get it.
Look to youtube for the answers
Get distracted by random youtube videos
